Kay Xander

A popular keynote speaker and podcaster – her “How to Live in Denmark” podcast has been running since 2013, with over two million downloads – Kay is also the author of five books about living in Denmark and Danish culture from an international’s point of view, including a brand new version of “How to Work in Denmark.”

Kay is a native of the USA and became a US/DK dual citizen in 2017. She graduated from New York University in Manhattan with a degree in journalism and worked for CNN, ABCNews and the Wall Street Journal before coming to Denmark, where she was employed at Danske Bank, Carlsberg Breweries, and Saxo Bank before starting her own communications consultancy, KXMGroup.

Kay lives with her daughter in Copenhagen. She travels frequently around Denmark and within Europe speaking to academic, corporate, and community groups about Denmark’s working culture.
