The Old Town Hall was constructed in 1587-95 by Antoni van Opbergen in the Dutch style.
Square-like in form, the top of the building is covered by two roofs running parallel and crowned with an 8 sided tower with two lights inside.
The symetrical front elevation accentuated with a finely sculptured portal (with coats of arms, angels and masks) as well as the elevation on the roof with its 8 sided towers, belonging to the Gdansk gothic style.
The town hall is home to the Baltic Centre of Culture.
